Turkmenistan Signs New Gas Deal With Ukraine
Turkmenistan and Ukraine signed a five-year natural gas deal on 14 May during a visit to Kiev by Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov. The agreement provides for Turkmenistan to supply Ukraine with 250BCM of gas between 2002 and 2006.
