Filling Of CPC Pipeline Resumes
Filling of the 1,580km Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline with crude from Kazakstans Tengiz field resumed on 23 May after a hiatus of several weeks. A number of reasons have been given as to why the crude was stopped at the Kazak border while on its way to the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossysk where the CPCs new oil loading terminal was to have been inaugurated on 30 June.
