Kuwait Denies Sale Of 4% Stake In Arab Bank
In response to earlier media reports, the Kuwaiti Government has denied that it is seeking to divest its stake in Jordans Arab Bank. According to a report in the Kuwaiti daily al-Watan published on 28 May a Kuwaiti delegation recently visited 'Amman and confirmed that there was no question of selling off the 400,000 Arab Bank shares, 4% of the total, held by the governments Kuwait Investment Authority(KIA).
