Moodys Reviews Three Lebanese Banks for Upgrade
US ratings agency Moodys Investors Service announced on 7 June that it had placed on review the ratings of three Lebanese banks Banque Audi, Byblos Bank and BLOM Bank for possible upgrade. The reviews are the result of a change in the agencys long-standing approach to rating the foreign currency bonds of debt issuers that will permit ratings of bonds and notes of some issuers to exceed their country ceilings....
