Egyptian Oil Output Downtrend Continues As Country Applies To Join OPEC
Egypts oil production fell to an average 643,058 b/d in the first half of 2001 (January-June), down 8.1% from the full-year 2000 average of 700,000 b/d, dipping below the 600,000 b/d level to an average 596,452 b/d in May.
