Saudi Telecoms Company Awards $600Mn New GSM Contract To Ericsson And Lucent
Saudi Telecommunications Company (STC) has awarded a $600mn contract to expand the countrys GSM network jointly to Swedens Ericsson and Lucent Technologies of the US. According to the Saudi daily Arab News on 3 July, Ericsson was awarded 60% of the contract worth $360mn, with the remaining $240mn going to Lucent.
