Samba Sees 13% Rise In Net Profits For 1H 2001
The Saudi American Bank (Samba) announced on 10 Julythat it had achieved net profits for 1H 2001 of SR1.109mn ($296mn), a rise of13% over the previous years figure for the same period of SR982mn ($261.9mn)and the fourth quarter in succession that Samba has reported quarterly profitsin excess of SR500mn ($133mn). This increase was on the back of an 11% rise intotal revenues, which stood at SR1.627bn ($434mn)...
