Irans External Debt FallsTo $7.95Bn

Irans total external debt as at 20 March 2001 (theend of the Iranian year 1379) had fallen to $7.952bn from $8.075bn on 21December 2000 and $10.357bn on 20 March 2000, according to statistics publishedby the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) in its latest quarterly bulletin Economic Trends.
