Yemen Raises Domestic Diesel Prices

Yemen raised diesel prices by 70% from YR10($0.006)/liter to YR17 ($0.010)/liter on 26 July. The Yemeni authoritiesmaintain the old diesel price became too costly, especially with the decline offoreign aid. This rise is part of the structural reforms launched in 1995 withthe support of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
