Asian Countries Mull StrategicStockbuild
Following the 11 Septemberterrorist attack on the US, Asian countries have been reviewing their stockssituation in case retaliatory military strikes lead to oil supply shortages.India and Thailand have dusted off plans to increase strategic stocks of crudeoil and products, while Japan has said it is not currently consideringreleasing any of its stocks as it is not facing shortages.
