Nokia Wins $200Mn GSM Contract InSaudi Arabia
Finlands Nokia announced on 26September that it had been awarded a $200mn contract by the Saudi TelecomsCompany (STC) to expand part of its GSM network. STC is planning to increaseits GSM capacity to five million subscribers. The latest contract will coverthe areas of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
