Irans External Debt Falls $2.2BnIn Year To 21 June 2001
Irans total external debt as at21 June 2001 (the end of the first quarter of the Iranian year 1380) fell to$7.393bn from $7.952bn on 20 March 2001 and from $9.585bn on 21 June 2000,according to statistics published by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) in itslatest quarterly bulletin Economic Trends.
