Repsol YPF Announces Fourth OilFind In Libyas Block NC-186
Spains Repsol YPF on 13 Decemberannounced an oil discovery on the 4,300 sq km Block NC-186 in the Murzuq Basin,around 800km south of Tripoli in the Sahara. The discovery well, D-1,encountered a significant oil column in the Hawaz sandstone formation with flowrates of up to 2,286 b/d of 41º API oil using a 64/64in choke.
