Minister Defends Shell Against "Zionist" Accusation
Irans oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh has come to the defense of Royal Dutch/Shell after the hard-line daily Jomhuri Eslami accused the Anglo-Dutch company of having Zionist connections. The controversy comes less than two months after the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) signed an agreement with Shell for an $800mn program to re-develop the Soroush and Nowruz oilfields.
