Former Pemex CEO Becomes Oil Advisor To Mexican President
The former Director-General and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pemex, Adrian Lajous, has been appointed special advisor on international oil matters to President Ernesto Zedillo of Mexico. Mr Lajous resigned from Pemex in December. In his new position he will reside in London, working from Pemex offices there and in Houston (MEES, 27 Dec 1999/3 Jan 2000).
