Sheshinski Committee Urges Adjustments In Israels Hydrocarbon Tax/Royalties Structure
Israels Sheshinki Committee, formed by the countrys Ministry of Finance and headed by Prof Eytan Sheskinski, an economist at Jerusalems Hebrew University, on 10 November recommended that Israel maintain a rate of 12.5% for royalties but that it introduce a progressive tax of 20-60% on profits made by companies developing and exploiting Israels...
