Iran Investigates Using Brent Weighted Average As Benchmark For Western Oil Sales
The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) is considering using the International Petroleum Exchanges (IPE) Brent Trade Weighted Average (BWAVE) price as a benchmark for all its oil sales to Europe and Africa, in place of the three different price benchmarks it now uses for these regions.
