World Bank To Consider $231Mn Loan To Iran
The World Bank is to consider lending a total of $231mn to Iran for two separate projects after six years of boycotting the country. According to a report in the Arabic daily Al-Hayat on 15 January quoting World Bank sources, approval for the two loans is expected by July. However, a source at the Bank told MEES that as yet "no date has been set for submission to the Board."
