Jordan Sells 40% Of Telecoms To French-Led Consortium For $508Mn
Jordan Telecommunications Company (JTC) signed a deal with France Telecom and the Arab Bank for the sale of a 40% stake in the state-run telecoms firm on 23 January. Under the agreement, the sale will give France Telecom 35.2% of JTC, while the Arab Bank will hold 4.8%. JTCs total value is estimated at $1.2bn.
