Conoco Acquires 20% Share Of Azerbaijans Offshore Zafar Mashal Block
Houston-based Conoco announced on 16 February that it had acquired 20% of Azerbaijans offshore Zafar Mashal block, pending final ratification by the Azerbaijani parliament. The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (Socar) holds 50% of the block and ExxonMobil, the operator, holds the remaining 30%.
