General Electric And US Department Of Energy Launch High-Efficiency Gas Turbine
A new gas turbine officially launched on 18 February by General Electric (GE) and the US Department of Energy (DoE) is the first to break the 60% efficiency barrier, and is claimed by the manufacturer to be capable of offering electricity at the lowest cost per kilowatt-hour (kwh) of any power generation technology.
