Syria Names New Cabinet
Muhammad Mustafa Mero, the former governor of Aleppo, was appointed Syrias Prime Minister on 13 March, heading a cabinet that includes 22 new appointees and 13 ministers from the previous government. The mandate of the new cabinet will be to fight corruption and to reform Syrias stagnant economy as well as conclude a peace agreement with Israel.
