UN Doubts Iraq Can Sustain Exports Of 2.5Mn B/D Soon; Rashid Plans Production Of 3Mn B/D By May
The UN has once again produced a comprehensive field report on "the lamentable state of the Iraqi oil industry." The report casts doubt on Iraq’s claim that it can sustain a production level of over 3mn b/d – 2.5mn b/d of exports, plus 700,000 b/d for domestic refining and trade with Jordan, Gulf and Turkey – any time soon....
