Sasref Refinery Expansion Completed
The Saudi Aramco Shell Refining Company (Sasref) has announced that trials are under way on upgrade work carried out at its 310,000 b/d plant at Jubail. In December 1997 Sasref awarded a $70mn contract to Foster Wheeler Italiana (the Italian subsidiary of Foster Wheeler of the US) to carry out the work (MEES, 5 January 1998).
