Maersk And NIOC Halt Talks On Development Of South Pars Field Oil Reservoir
Copenhagen-based Maersk Oil and Gas and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) have halted discussions on the potential development of an oil reservoir in the giant South Pars gas field. MEES understands that the major stumbling block in the negotiations was that both parties were too uncertain about what quantity of oil reserves could be involved in the project.
