Construction Of Jubail Antioxidant Plant Begins
Construction work began on 17 May on an antioxidant plant in Jubail. The project, operated by Gulf Stabilizers Industries, is a joint venture between al-Zamil Group and Great Lakes Chemical Corporation of the US. The plant, the first in the Middle East, is expected to enter full production in September 2001, producing antioxidants for the plastics and polymers industries in Saudi Arabia and the GCC states....
