Joint Chevron-Phillips Chemical Company To Manage Jubail Petrochemicals Plant
Chevron and Phillips Petroleum of the US plan on 1 June to form a joint venture in Saudi Arabia to run a $650mn petrochemicals complex in Jubail. The complex, currently run by Saudi Chevron Petrochemical a partnership between Chevron and a private Saudi venture was inaugurated on 1 February (MEES, 31 January).
