OPEC Production Rose To 28.31Mn B/D In May With Most Of The Increase From Iraq
Overall crude oil production by the OPEC member states rose to 28.31mn b/d in May, registering a hefty increase of 610,000 b/d over the previous month. Most of the incremental production, around 400,000 b/d, came from Iraq. The rise in OPEC production has continued since last January, increasing by 2.23mn b/d, including 850,000 b/d from Iraq.
