Suez Canal Petroleum Traffic Falls In 1999
The volume of crude oil and petroleum products passing through the Suez Canal in 1999 fell for the fourth time in five years to 23.525mn tons, a 25% decline from 31.714mn tons in 1998 (see Table 1), according to the yearly report of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA).
