KIO Says Karachaganak Development Costs Increase Offset By Field Performance

Following a comprehensive review of its current Phase II development of Kazakstans Karachaganak gas condensate field, the Karachaganak Integrated Organization (KIO) has announced that the cost will rise to $1.18bn, an increase of some 70% over the 1997 estimate of $687mn.
