Japanese To Cooperate In Minerals Prospecting
The Saudi Geological Survey Institute on 21 August signed an agreement with Japans International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under which the two organizations will cooperate in exploration for basic minerals in the Umm al-Dar area, 30km northeast of the kingdoms biggest gold mine at Mahd al-Dhahab in the west of the country (for a detailed survey of minerals development in Saudi Arabia see MEES, 14 August)....
