Oman Boosts Foreign Investment Prospects Through Legislation
Oman is also moving to encourage foreign investment, and in the same report Trowers & Hamlins summarizes changes in the countrys tax regime related to foreign companies. Coming at the same time as Omans entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO from 10 October), recent changes to the tax laws have softened considerably the tax regime applicable to foreign investors in Oman, the report says....
