Two New Private Petrochemical Ventures Set Up In SaudiArabia
Two new petrochemical ventures have been established inSaudi Arabia. The Gulf Advanced Chemical Industries Company (GACIC) signed on 7February a Letter of Understanding with the Huntsman Corp. and Kvaerner ProcessTechnology Ltd. covering the establishment of a joint venture to producebutanediol (BDO)/maleic anhydride (MAH).
