Japan Gives Morocco $135Mn For Water Projects
Japans Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund agreed on 23February to give Morocco Dh1.3bn ($135mn) in loans to finance water projects inurban and rural areas in cooperation with the government-run Office National delEau Potable. The loans will enable the local authority to build waterprojects in 56 villages and upgrade other water networks in the cities ofAgadir, Oujda and Safi.
