Syria Reduces Light Crude Formula For March, Raises Heavy

Syriaç—´ state agency Sytrol has reduced the March priceformula for Syrian Light crude by 10 cents/B to Dated Brent minus 60 cents/B,but increased the price formula for Syrian Heavy to Dated Brent minus $2.85/B.The following table shows the adjustment factors for Syrian crude in relationto Dated Brent for the second half of 1998 and the first quarter of 1999 ($/B):
