Iraq Asks UN To Halt Payments To Compensation Fund
Iraq has formally requested that the UN should stop paymentsto the Compensation Fund under the UN oil-for-food deal, according to a letterfrom Iraqi Foreign Minister Muhammad Sa'id al-Sahaf to UN Secretary GeneralKofi Annan on 4 May.
