Qatari Government Debt Stands At 69.4% Of GDP In 1999
As of the end of March 1999, the Qatari Government faced atotal debt burden of $6.4bn, or 69.4% of GDP at current prices, according to apreliminary offering circular published by Credit Suisse First Boston and JPMorgan Securities Ltd. at the recent launch of Qatars first $1bn sovereignbond (for details see MEES, 17 May).
