Moroccos Onarep Awards Offshore Permit To Skidmore Energy
Moroccos Office National de Recherches et dExploitationsPetrolieres (Onarep), the state-owned exploration company, has awarded anoffshore exploration permit to Skidmore Energy Inc. of the US. The one-yearagreement calls for Skidmore to evaluate crude oil deposits in an offshore areain the Ounara region, near Essaouira, some 490 kms. south of Rabat.
