ENI Acquires Interest In Blocks 401a And 402a In Algeria痴 Berkine Basin
The Italian energy group ENI announced on 13 July that ithad reached an agreement to purchase a 41.25% interest in blocks 401a and 402ain Algeria痴 Berkine Basin. The purchase agreement provides for the sale ofcontract interests currently held by Anadarko (27.5%) and Lasmo (13.75%) for acombined total of $127mn.
