Noble Sanctions Tamar Gas Field Development
Houston-based Noble Energy on 23 September announced that it will proceed with the development of Israels offshore Tamar gasfield, which was discovered in 2009. Tamar holds recoverable gas reserves estimated at 8.4 tcf (238 bcm). In a statement Noble said initial development will consist of five subsea wells, each capable of flowing at 200-250mn cfd.
