Jordan Hikes Gasoline Prices
The Jordanian Government decided on 21 August to raise theretail price of regular gasoline by 9% to JD0.240 ($0.34) per liter from theprevious price of JD0.22 ($0.31) unchanged since 1989 and at the same timeto reduce customs duties on motor vehicles by an average of around 67%.
