Abu Dhabi Raises August Prices

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has raised itsretroactive monthly assessment prices for term sales for August by$1.65-$1.85/B. Murban was increased by $1.80/B to $20.25/B, Lower Zakum by$1.85/B to $20.30, Umm Shaif by $1.80/B to $20.00/B, and Upper Zakum by $1.65to $19.35/B. The following table shows crude prices for the UAE during thefirst eight months of 1999 and the 1997 and 1998 averages ($/B):
