Lasmo Gains Two Blocks In Algeria Through Acquisition ofMonument
As a result of its Monument acquisition, Lasmo of the UK nowoperates the In Amedjene and El Ouar areas in block 212 in the Berkine Basin,according to Lasmo痴 1H99 report. Monument Oil signed two production sharingagreements with Sonatrach for In Amedjene and El Ouar. Lasmo will now becomeoperator of the two blocks with a 32.67% interest.
