GNPOC Crude Production At 155,000 B/D; CNPC Tries ToSidestep US Sanctions
Production from the Greater Nile Petroleum OperatingCompanys concession in southern Sudan reached 155,000 b/d in early November,according to Talismans 3Q99 report. The Canadian company added that three pumpstations are now in service and that a total of 28 exploration and appraisalwells have been drilled year-to-date with a 90% success rate.
