Qatar Signs $420mn Petrochemicals Plant Partnership WithEniChem
The Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (QGPC) announced on17 November a partnership agreement with Italys EniChem to set up a $420mntoluene di-isocyanate (TDI) plant in Mesa'ieed with a production capacity of100,000 tons/year. QGPC will own 51% of the shares in the joint venture, withEniChem holding 49%. Financing will be arranged 30% through equity and 70%through loans and export credits....
