Abu Dhabi And Dubai Sign Gas Supply Agreement
Abu Dhabi and Dubai have at long last signed a cooperation agreement under which AbuDhabi will supply Dubai with its requirements for natural gas. The agreement, which wassigned on 18 February, reaffirms a directive issued by Shaikh Zayid ibn Sultan Al Nuhayyan- the UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi - nearly two years ago in January 1996 (MEES,29 January 1996).
