QNB Sees Profits Up 15%
Qatar National Bank (QNB), the largest bank in Qatar, said that its 1997 earnings hadincreased 15% to QR379mn ($104mn), a third year of record profits. The proposed cashdividend is 25% of share capital (or QR110.7mn), although bonus shares will also bedistributed on a one-for-four basis.
