Samsung Engineering Wins Contract To Construct Polyethylene Plant
South Korea's Samsung Engineering announced in Seoul on 24 February that it hadreceived a $200mn order from Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (Sidpec) to build Egypt'sfirst linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant. The agreement was signed in Cairo on23 February. The plant, which will be located at al-Amiriya petrochemical complex nearAlexandria, is scheduled for completion in July 2000....
