Kazakhstan To Double Oil Export Duties To $40/Ton For 2011
Kazakhstans Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev told a cabinet meeting on 1 September that the government will double its crude oil export duty to $40/ton beginning 1 January 2011 in order to increase its budget revenue flow. He said the increase constituted the most significant budget revenue planned [for 2011].
