Apache Announces New Discovery In West Mediterranean Concession
Apache Corporation announced in Houston on 16 March the test results of the AlameinWest #1 discovery well in the 12,500-sq. km. onshore/offshore West Mediterranean (Block 1)concession (ex-Markia), west of Alexandria. Apache, which has a two-thirds contractorworking interest in the well, is partnered by Repsol (operator) and Amoco. It had earlierpurchased its interest in the concession from Mobil....
